Dr.Poorkay was extremely sensitive to my concerns and provided information that was easily understood and relevant. Although he is obviously extremely busy to nearly overwhelmed, he took adequate time to address all my concerns and has developed a plan to determine the cause of my afflictions and wherever possible implement a course of treatment.

Dr Poorkay and NP [..] are the greatest. Even though they have other patients besides me they take time to answer all my concerns and explain what they are saying things I don't understand. Thats why in the waiting area if someone is complaining about their time I politely say wait until you get back there you will experience why they may be a little longer with some than others. And the next thing is everyone is agreeing with me. But normally they schedule you accordingly for instance I just got out of hospital vs. You just coming for follow up which both of us are taken care of no matter. They are the best.

I could not begin to say how much I appreciate Dr. Poorkay. He was gentle and kind, showing a genuine interest in me and my family (who weren't even present!). I've honestly never had a doctor who made me feel so safe. He listened to my concerns and diagnosed me within minutes - I sought a specialist because I couldn't get an answer from my GP or the physician I saw for a second opinion. He was committed to treating my symptoms and both adjusted my meds and scheduled a thorough follow-up that will include blood work no one else thought to check. I was also impressed that he not only asked my pronouns but those of my spouse. I wish all of my doctors appointments would be like this.

I try to make it a routine practice to arrive AT APPOINTMENTS 15-10 MINUTES EARLY, therefore I am always on time and if there is any wait period I carry reading materials.

By far Dr. Poorkay and the Staff have been exceptional to work with. I feel like they are helping me correct or manage my health.

Dr. Poorkay always listens to my concerns. During this visit he was able to recognize my problem and immediately called the ER doctor and had his physician assistants transport me to the ER. Dr. Poorkay diagnosed that I have kidney stones.

I know he sees hundreds of patients in between our visits but he always remembers specific details of my medical history and personal life mentioned in previous appointments.
