Detection
To help in the diagnosis of liver cancer, Norton Cancer Institute physicians employ several detection techniques including:

- CT scans
- MRI
- Angiography
- Laparoscopy
- Biopsy Blood tests
Treatment options
The preferred treatment for patients with liver tumors is surgical removal, also called resection. Other options include:
- Chemotherapy
- Chemoembolization
- IntraOperative MRI
- Radio frequency ablation
- Therasphere treatment
