Norton Cancer Institute Sarcoma Center
Dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with sarcomas and related tumors, the Norton Cancer Institute Sarcoma Center provides the region with specialty care not available elsewhere in the state.
Comprised of specialists in musculoskeletal radiology, pathology, surgery, medical oncology, orthopaedic oncology and radiation oncology, this multidisciplinary team of experts meet at the outset of treatment to discuss the differential diagnoses and strategies for biopsies and review the clinical and radiographic data prior to rendering an official interpretation.
Collaborative discussion continues throughout the completion of chemotherapy and radiation treatments and on into conversations of survivorship with the patient and their family as their recovery progresses.
This approach ensures that each patient receives a high-level of quality, personalized specialty care only available from the region’s leader in cancer prevention and treatment – Norton Cancer Institute.
