National Wear Red Day is Friday, Feb. 2

Norton Heart & Vascular Center is a proud supporter of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement. National Wear Red Day on Feb. 2, 2018, will mark 15 years since the first National Wear Red Day drew awareness to heart disease being the No. 1 killer of women. Today, nearly 300 fewer women die from heart disease and stroke each day, and heart-related deaths in women have decreased by more than 30 percent over the past 10 years.

Despite this progress, more work is crucial. One in three women dies of heart disease or stroke each year, but you can help make a change. Commit today to:

For women who have experienced pre-eclampsia, pregnancy-induced high blood pressure, gestational diabetes or delivered a baby small for gestational age.
