Double chocolate spice brownies

Try this recipe!

1/4 cup soy milk
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon (packed) powdered egg substitute
1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup Sucanat or sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
Small pinch of salt
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan; set aside. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy mild, canola oil and egg substitute until thick and foamy. Set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, Sucanat, cocoa powder, cinnamon, cardamom and salt. Add soy milk mixture and chocolate chips, and stir to combine. Transfer batter into prepared pan. Use a spatula to spread the batter evenly to the edges of the pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before cutting into 12 pieces.
