Norton Healthcare Network Update

Cyber threats are an ever-increasing reality in today’s world and for health care systems across the country. When this crime was committed against our organization, we took necessary and important steps to ensure care for the community could continue.

Since the event occurred, our Information Services team together with leading external cyber security experts have been diligently going through every network application to assess the potential impact. Our providers are working hard to communicate the results from tests and images and will share that information with patients as quickly as possible. Through the hard work of our employees, the majority of our operations are back online.

The investigation into exactly what happened is still underway and we continue to cooperate with the FBI. Investigations into cyber events can take months to complete, and we expect that to be the case here. We ask for your patience and understanding during this time-consuming, but crucial, process.

More information will be available upon the completion of the investigation. We take seriously that our patients and employees entrust us with their care and information. Thank you for your support.
