Enterostomal therapy services are available for children and adults with ostomies or wounds that require this specialized type of care.

We Care for These Conditions

Nurses specially trained in enterostomal therapy care for patients with:

  • Abdominal stomas
  • Dermal wounds
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Incontinence

We offer the following services:

  • Preoperative and postoperative education
  • Preoperative stoma markings
  • Wound care education
  • Wound prevention education
  • Follow-up care and equipment adjustments

Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy

Inpatient and outpatient enterostomal therapy is available at Norton Audubon Hospital, Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Norton Children’s Hospital.

Norton Hospital currently offers inpatient enterostomal therapy only.
