Norton Hospital is a 605-bed hospital and regional referral center for complex care, specializing in complicated cancer care, spine care and maternal care. It serves as a teaching facility for the nearby University of Louisville School of Medicine. Norton Hospital is regionally recognized as a leader in minimally invasive and cancer surgery. The chapel in Norton Healthcare Pavilion is located on the first floor near the Preston Street entrance.

If requested, Norton Hospital Pastoral Care will notify personal pastors, priests and rabbis when a patient is admitted. To request pastoral care or for more information, call (502) 629-6150.

Interpreter Services

Norton Hospital patients who do not speak English can communicate with staff members in more 143 languages with the help of AT&T’s Language Line Services.

If you need an interpreter, tell a nurse when you are admitted and arrangements will be made for you. Equipment for the hearing impaired also is available for all telephones and televisions.
