Our providers are at the forefront of brain tumor, brain cancer and spinal cord tumor diagnosis, treatment and research. Often when a new brain tumor treatment is approved for broad use, our physicians already have deep experience with it because they were principal investigators during the clinical trial phase of its development. This also means that patients can be eligible to take part in a clinical trial of novel, often groundbreaking treatments.

Once you get a brain cancer or brain tumor diagnosis, it’s a scary time, but it’s also time to get started on your recovery. Newly diagnosed patients can get same-day appointments at the Brain Tumor Center. Because spinal cord tumors have their own unique considerations, our specialists also work with the specialists at Norton Leatherman Spine to bring more viewpoints to your condition.

Conditions we treat range from the more common brain cancers like glioblastoma to rare cancers that require the experience that our specialists offer.

You also may want to seek a second opinion, and you should. Understanding your brain tumor treatment options is a serious undertaking. Check with your insurance provider to avoid any surprises, and we’ll provide whatever records are necessary. If you are coming to us seeking a second opinion, we have an expedited process for getting you started.

“I’ve been trained at and have visited renowned academic health centers, and the Brain Tumor Center here encompasses the expertise of the same skilled providers while going above and beyond to provide true multidisciplinary care to patients in one clinical setting. There is no delay or wondering on the patient’s part, because our team is there to provide answers. Of all of the teams I have been a part of, there has never been a team where so many specialties — radiation, oncology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology — are so closely linked. Our care is truly a unique, rare, collaborative effort to benefit our patients.”
