A boy and a girl were the first babies of 2020 at Norton Hospital and Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Mathias Isaiah was born Jan. 1 at 1:35 a.m. at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital, weighing 7 pounds, 6.3 ounces and stretching out to 19 inches. He is the first baby for Alexis Dow and Michael Parrish. Mathias wasn’t due until mid-January, but arrived healthy and happy after 17 hours of labor.

Norton Hospital nurses and physicians welcomed their first delivery at 12:34 p.m. on New Year’s Day. Baby girl Aubree Anai arrived on her due date at 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 21 inches long. She is the second child for Aria Fowler and Jeryl Tyson.
