Each year, Bourbon & Bowties is held in honor or memory of a child who was cared for at Norton Children’s Hospital, and each year’s event features a custom-designed bow tie and tie created with that child’s passion in mind.
This year, Bourbon & Bowties: A Taste of Corbett’s was held in honor of Tanner Demling, a Trinity High School senior who has tetralogy of Fallot, a rare congenital heart defect. The event featured hors d’oeuvres from 42 of Louisville’s top chefs, music and an auction to raise funds for Norton Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Hospital Foundation. It was presented by Northwestern Mutual.
Thank you to the sponsors, chefs, guests and supporters for making this year’s event a success for more kids like Tanner! We’d also like to give a shout-out to Tanner Demling, who like all of our honorees, truly embodies the spirit of Norton Children’s Hospital!
