Norton Healthcare recently was recognized for having some of the most engaged employees in the nation. In March, Norton Healthcare was named a Workplace of the Year by Advisory Board.
The annual award recognizes hospitals and health systems nationwide for their outstanding level of employee engagement. Norton Healthcare partnered with the Advisory Board last year to conduct a system-wide safety and engagement survey.
“It is an honor to be recognized for having an engaged staff that is passionate about caring for our community,” said Russell F. Cox, president and CEO, Norton Healthcare. “Our goal is to be the friendliest, most compassionate, safest and easiest to use health care organization in the region.”
Engaged employees, as defined by Advisory Board, are those who exhibit both loyalty and commitment to the organization. These employees are willing to expend extra effort, often going above and beyond to help the organization succeed. The award recognizes Norton Healthcare’s commitment to creating a best-in-class work environment for its employees.
Norton Healthcare is one of 20 out of 100 participating organizations to receive the award.
