Norton Immediate Care Center – Heartland

The most common symptoms of COVID-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus, are fever, cough, shortness of breath and congestion. If you currently are experiencing mild symptoms, we recommend that you rest at home. Your decision on whether to seek medical care should not change just because of this new virus. If you’re feeling ill, but otherwise would not have sought medical care, it’s best for you to stay at home.If you still have concerns or think you have been exposed to the new coronavirus, consider scheduling a virtual visit with a Norton Healthcare provider using Norton eCare. Norton eCare providers will be able to screen you and determine the next steps in your treatment, much like an office visit.

If Norton eCare is not an option for you and you would like to continue to reserve your spot at a Norton Immediate Care Center for COVID-19-related symptoms, please ask the receptionist for a mask when you arrive.

Norton Immediate Care Centers will not provide COVID-19 testing. Nationally, COVID-19 testing has been limited in an effort to have test kits available for those who need them most. We are limiting testing to three categories:

  • Hospitalized patients
  • High-risk exposures of health care workers
  • Other high-risk patients

If you suspect you have coronavirus (COVID-19), and it is not an emergency, use our guide to determine if you need further screening.
