Services offers hope for mothers and babies
Addiction is a hard battle to fight — even more so when you are fighting for two. New Vision for Expectant Mothers is a service offered at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital for pregnant women who are seeking or experiencing withdrawal from opiates, alcohol and other addictive substances.
“We’re going to try and eliminate the highs and lows from addictive substances for women and their babies,” said Zach Crouch, regional coordinator with SpecialCare Hospital Management Corp., which operates the New Vision for Expectant Mothers service at the hospital.
This service was established at Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital in 2015. Read about more ways we are working to improve the health of our community in our 2015 Report to Our Community.
