Norton Hospital is a 605-bed hospital and regional referral center for complex care, specializing in complicated cancer care, spine care and maternal care. It serves as a teaching facility for the nearby University of Louisville School of Medicine. Norton Hospital is regionally recognized as a leader in minimally invasive and cancer surgery. Piloting the way in cancer care, the hospital provides a base of operations for Norton Cancer Institute, the da Vinci robotic surgical system and the area’s first cancer resource center.
