SCOTT WATKINS

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT and chief integration and performance officer

Scott Watkins was named to his current role in June 2024. He is responsible for the integration of system strategies as well as the availability and allocation of capital across Norton Healthcare business units to ensure achievement of intended strategic outcomes and performance metrics.

From 2017 to 2024, Scott served as senior vice president, operations; and from 2004 to 2017, he served as system vice president, operations. Before his system-based roles, Scott served in finance and operational roles at Norton Audubon Hospital and Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital. 

Scott began his professional career in 1992 with Eskew & Gresham in Louisville. He began his health care career with Columbia/HCA, then the largest hospital company in the United States. In 1997, Scott began working for Audubon Hospital. A year later, Norton Healthcare bought the hospital from Columbia/HCA, and he accepted a position with Norton Healthcare.

A native of Oldham County, Kentucky, Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Louisville and a Master of Business Administration degree from Bellarmine University in Louisville. He serves as a board member for Christian Academy of Louisville and the Kris Landers Foundation and is an elder at Northeast Christian Church in Louisville.
