For the second year in a row, Norton Healthcare has been named seventh nationally — and the highest in Kentucky — among large organizations (5,000-plus U.S. employees) on the Best Places to Work in IT list by IDG Insider Pro and Computerworld.

The annual list of top 100 organizations (52 large, 25 midsize and 23 small) is compiled based on benefits, career development, training, retention, as well as a survey of information technology (IT) workers.

“Health care increasingly relies on information services. I am proud of the team we have built at Norton Healthcare to support the growing technology needs of our organization. During the recent COVID-19 pandemic, our ability to be nimble to quickly respond during a crisis was instrumental in meeting the rapidly changing needs of our organization, our patients and our community,” said Steve L. Ready, senior vice president and chief information officer, Norton Healthcare. “As an organization, we strive to provide important opportunities for career development and training to allow our employees to grow and become high performers within our system. We continually work with human resources to ensure we are meeting the needs of our team members in the ever-changing world of technology.”
