Cancer doesn’t stop for rain and neither did the more than 800 riders who participated in the eighth annual Bike to Beat Cancer on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016.

The Bike to Beat Cancer is a one-day cycling event for cyclists who want to make a difference and help those battling cancer at Norton Cancer Institute. Riders chose from four distance options — 35, 65 or 100 miles — or a 5-mile Family Ride.

An enormous thank you to the riders, volunteers, sponsors and supporters for their continued dedication to this year’s Bike to Beat Cancer.

“We ride for you — the cancer fighters, the cancer survivors. The ones who know firsthand the word we long to beat: cancer. The reason we ride is to make sure no one ever has to know that word again. We Bike to Beat Cancer, and we want to ride for you.”
