We are excited to announce the arrival of our little miracle! We are so blessed to have him in our world and thankful to our family and friends for their support.
Our journey to this point has been a rollercoaster ride, but we are beyond thankful for our healthy little boy. Things will be much different around our house as Isaiah celebrates his first Thanksgiving and his first Christmas. And my reflection of the year will have a new perspective.
This time last year, we didn’t know where our baby journey would lead — today we’re giving thanks for and with Isaiah. I have found myself more aware of all the things in my life to be thankful for since Isaiah’s birth — the beautiful days to spend with him, his amazing facial expressions when he hears our voices or experiences something new, watching my husband become a father.
I am challenging myself in the year to come to be even more aware — of my actions, my words and the small things that make every day special.
I know time with Isaiah will go fast and he will grow and change so quickly before my eyes. In his short time here, he already has. Knowing how quickly he changes and life changes, I am accepting my personal awareness challenge so that I am sure I will always take time to create many special memories with him.
As I become more aware, I’m hopeful to also become more grateful. Grateful for his life, grateful for my husband and Isaiah’s amazing father, and grateful for all those around us — family, friends and co-workers — supporting us as we continue to grow as parents.
Thank you for following my story. I hope it has inspired you, entertained you or, at least, educated you during your own pregnancy journey.
