January marks the official beginning of the Kentucky Derby Festival miniMarathon and Marathon training season. The Norton Sports Health Kentucky Derby Festival training program prepares runners and walkers of all levels for the big races on Saturday, April 29, 2017. The free 15-week program offers a training guide packed with everything you need to know, including a week-by-week training schedule. Also, get training tips, join in on weekly organized group runs and talk with professionals about nutrition, injury prevention and more.
Norton Sports Health physicians serve as medical co-directors for the training program and race day. If you experience injuries or problems while training, you have access to preferential appointment services with our Norton Sports Health team.
Join the Norton Sports Health Training Program This free Marathon and miniMarathon training program features 14 weeks of organized group runs, training tips and preparation. Trainees have the opportunity to talk with professionals about nutrition, training tips, injury prevention and education.
