SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF FINANCe and administrative OFFICER

Adam Kempf was named to his current role in June 2024 after serving as senior vice president and chief financial officer since November 2017. He is responsible for Norton Healthcare’s financial operations, including operating and capital budgets, accounting systems, and long-term financial and capital planning. In addition, Adam has executive oversight for revenue cycle management, human resources and information services. 

Adam joined Norton Healthcare in 2001 after working in public accounting for six years. He began his career at Norton Healthcare as senior internal auditor and has served in multiple finance roles of increasing responsibility over the years.

A native of Southern Indiana, Adam earned his bachelor‘s degree in accounting from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is a certified public accountant, a graduate of the Ignite Louisville and Leadership Louisville programs, and actively involved with the Kentucky chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He has been recognized by Business First as a Best in Finance honoree and currently serves on the boards of several local organizations.
