The Freedom Center will host its 2nd Annual Mindful Connections event at Bicentennial Park in downtown Madison. The Family Fun Night focuses on promoting area resources and showing kids that they don’t need to be afraid to ask for help. Norton King’s Daughters’ Health will have a booth with games and activities. The first 400 kids who visit all the community booths will receive a free Kona Ice. In addition to food trucks, the local police and sheriff departments will be grilling free dogs. The movie Finding Dory will be available for viewing free of charge once it’s dark outside (around 8:45 p.m.).
