The emergency department at Norton Medical Center is located at Jeffersonville Commons, on 10^th Street near the Interstate 265 interchange and offers convenient access from eastern Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days per week.

The Jeffersonville Commons location also has a Norton Community Medical Associates primary care office and a Norton Diagnostic Center providing diagnostic imaging services, including X-rays, CT, mammography and MRI.

The emergency department and Norton Medical Center are integrated with Norton Clark Hospital and the comprehensive specialty care provided by the Norton Healthcare system.

The Norton Medical Center emergency department includes eight exam rooms — with the capability of converting one to a trauma bay, if needed —as well as a  lab and access to the adjoining diagnostic imaging center.
