This mobile center helps to provide care for women in our community who lack access to necessary breast health screenings and services. In 2018, Churchill Downs made a three-year commitment to continue the Oaks partnership. The money raised from this collaboration will help fund the purchase of a new mobile prevention unit to help service a higher volume of patients.

In just two years, Churchill Downs has donated over $187,000, with an additional $100,000 anticipated in 2020. The money it has raised for the Norton Healthcare Foundation provides crucial support for the health of women in this community.

Recognizing Churchill Downs’ support of the Norton Healthcare Foundation and other community organizations, the Association for Fundraising Professionals of Greater Louisville named Churchill Downs as Philanthropist of the Year – Organization.
