Unity Jam – Back-to-school event July 27 will offer health and wellness information, backpacks and school supplies for children

Unity Jam, a free event for all school-age children and the community, will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Newburg location of Boys & Girls Club of Kentuckiana, 5020 E. Indian Trail, Louisville, KY 40218. The event is hosted by Norton Healthcare.

This back-to-school event will feature health screening and wellness information, community resources, games, activities and light snacks. Children will receive a free backpack with school supplies (while supplies last) donated by employees of Norton Healthcare.

The event is coordinated by Synergy, a Norton Healthcare employee resource group, and Norton Healthcare’s equity, inclusion and belonging department.

Unity Jam started in 2017 as a way for Norton Healthcare employees to give back to the community.
