‘What does Black History Month mean to you?’

Employees from throughout Norton Healthcare discuss the importance of celebrating the accomplishments of African Americans.

Black History Month is a time for us to appreciate the trailblazers who paved the way for the world we live in today. Throughout February, we honor courageous individuals who stood for freedom and equality. This month is an important time to celebrate the accomplishments of African Americans.

At Norton Healthcare, our African American employee resource group works each year to commemorate Black History Month. This group reached out to employees from throughout the organization and asked: “What does Black History Month mean to you?”

Hear from some of our compassionate caregivers, as they speak to the significance of this month.
