Building Together

Norton West Louisville Hospital will signal several firsts in our community. It will be the first Norton Healthcare hospital to have solar panels. It will be one of the first Energy Star-certified buildings in West Louisville, and it will be the first hospital to be built west of Ninth Street in more than 150 years. Bringing this hospital to 28th Street and Broadway as part of the Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus also ushers in new partnerships with a unique group of industry experts and construction leaders. Their transformational vision for this space will help change the course of health outcomes for thousands of people.

The Norton West Louisville Hospital design and construction team was assembled because of their expertise, but it’s their passion for this project that truly is a game-changer. With more than 200 years of combined experience in building brighter futures and first-class facilities, this team is taking a collaborative approach to constructing a hospital that is reflective of what community members say they want and what is needed. Creating new opportunities for companies to build with us is a part of the design and construction team’s goal of ensuring an inclusive environment.

General contractor Harmon/Messer JV, architecture firm Moody Nolan along with Carey Anderson, and community construction consultants 7PM Group, OneWest and NTC, are working side-by-side with the team from Norton Healthcare to build not just a hospital — but hope — at this important corner of West Louisville.
