Norton Scott Hospital has a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department and provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient services including cardiac rehabilitation, CT, dietary, MRI, laboratory services, medical imaging, nuclear medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy and a swing bed care program.

What is the Swing Bed Care Program?
Sometimes after a hospital stay, you need extra care before you are ready to go home. The Swing Bed Care Program provides you with medically supervised care when you still need support.
During your swing bed stay, hospital staff and medical staff will work with you to create a treatment plan and set health goals that are specific for your needs. You can participate in your own care and continue your recovery before you leave the hospital. Our most important focus is on improving your physical, nutritional and medical condition so you can return home, where you want to be.
