Supplier Diversity

The goal of Norton Healthcare’s supplier diversity strategy is to foster growth and development of minority-, women- and veteran-owned enterprises in our community.

Our supplier diversity strategy supports our commitment to care for the communities we serve. We believe that having a diverse supplier base enhances our supply chain, which contributes to increased efficiency to provide an enhanced experience for patients.

Our supplier diversity program is designed to contribute to the economic health and reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. It includes, but is not limited to:

  • Implementing a world-class supplier diversity program to meet Norton Healthcare’s existing and future needs
  • Identifying companywide contracting and purchasing opportunities in which we ensure that diverse businesses have the opportunity to bid competitively
  • Identifying diverse businesses to bid on opportunities throughout the company
  • Participating in minority business development organizations and activities to promote Norton Healthcare’s commitment to supplier diversity

Our supply chain team sources all goods and services for Norton Healthcare. Our purchasing department identifies qualified suppliers for bid opportunities and works with those suppliers to become successful business partners. Vendors with products and services that are potentially suitable for Norton Healthcare are encouraged to complete a vendor profile in order to be considered for current and future projects.
