Norton Healthcare is now taking applications for the next Student Nurse Apprenticeship Program (SNAP) cohort. Students set to graduate December 2022 through June 2023 need to apply by Oct. 1, 2021.
The program is designed for student nurses interested in learning and growing within Norton Healthcare.
“SNAP benefits both a new generation of nurses and Norton Healthcare,” said Brittany Burke, DNP, R.N., director, Norton Healthcare Center for Nursing Practice. “By bringing student nurses into our facilities, we are not only increasing their readiness for practice, we are teaching them our values and standard of care so they are ready to join the Norton Healthcare family upon graduation.”
The program was the first pre-licensure nursing apprenticeship program in the United States.
Online informational sessions via Zoom webinar will take place Sept. 10 from noon to 1 p.m., Sept. 23 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Sept. 28 from noon to 1 p.m. (All times EDT) Access the Zoom webinar links at:
