In honor of Black History Month, Norton Healthcare is celebrating some of the people who make a difference at Louisville’s leading healthcare provider.
Sandra Stroud, coordinator, Continuing Medical Education, has been part of the Norton Healthcare family since 2007. Sandra’s career interests have always been health care related as she has a passion to help people. Sandra first joined Norton Healthcare as a lay health navigator. In that role she organized health care education and other services for underserved communities. Now, as a CME coordinator, Sandra provides intentional and engaging educational opportunities for our physicians and other health care providers, ensuring that Norton Healthcare offers inclusive and innovative educational activities.
“Sandra represents Norton Healthcare with confidence and grace as she interacts with vendors and organizations throughout the city and state,” said Tamekka Cornelius, program manager, Diversity and Inclusion. “What I admire most about Sandra is that despite a busy and demanding work environment, she always tries to stay upbeat, look for positive outcomes and focuses on the good!”
