Forget the roses, candy and expensive dinner out. Workout dates are becoming a popular way for couples to spend time together. Exercising with your significant other can increase happiness in your relationship and your emotional bond, while also improving the quality of your workout.
Trying to woo that special someone? Exercise causes the same physiological changes as falling in love: sweaty hands, shortness of breath, racing pulse. Work out with your romantic interest and see how it just might boost attractiveness.
We’ll make it easy for you. Come to “Spin With Flynn” on Valentine’s evening, Feb. 14, at Cyclebar Premium Indoor Cycling in St. Matthews. You don’t have to be a couple to attend! This is a great way for single people to spend their evening too.
The one-hour spin class is hosted by Joseph M. Flynn, D.O., physician-in-chief of Norton Cancer Institute, in partnership with Norton Sports Health, and is a great way to start training for the 2017 Bike to Beat Cancer or just have a fun night out with your valentine.
“Spin With Flynn” takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 14, starting at 8:15 p.m. Cyclebar is located at 4600 Shelbyville Road. Click here to sign up. Pre-registration is required and is limited to the first 50 participants.
A minimum donation of $5 is required to participate. (Bring exact cash only.)
Cyclebar is tailored to all fitness and experience levels and will energize, inspire, motivate and invigorate riders. Cyclebar offers cycling shoes, lockers, water bottles with infused water and fresh fruit to all attendees free of charge.
