Norton Neuroscience Institute Headache and Migraine Care Botox Clinic

Norton Neuroscience Institute headache and migraine specialists provide leading-edge care, including the newest therapies like calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibodies that have been shown to prevent migraine attacks.

Our Botox clinic uses onabotulinumtoxinA to help prevent migraine in a few ways. It acts as a muscle relaxer to stop spasms in different areas of the head. It also inhibits the transport of proteins that can cause migraine after months of treatment. Botox injections are one of many treatment options offered at the Norton Neuroscience Institute Headache Center.

Botox treatments usually wear off after 10 to 12 weeks as the headache-related proteins redevelop and need to be refreshed with more shots.
