This smoothie recipe mixes your favorite flavors with good-for-you ingredients, making this a perfect morning treat or anytime snack.
Apple Pie Smoothie
- 1 cup fresh apples, chopped
- ½ banana, sliced
- 1 tablespoon chopped almonds
- ½ cup vanilla soy milk
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 cup ice cubes
If you are using whole almonds, place them in the blender and chop. Then place all remaining ingredients into the blender and puree until smooth. Serve immediately.
Note: You can replace soy milk with regular milk, your favorite nondairy milk or yogurt.
