Norton Healthcare has been selected as an honoree for the Louisville Business First 2022 Business Impact Awards for its work promoting racial equality through the Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus and Norton West Louisville Hospital.
The new hospital will include an emergency room, primary care, pediatric care, specialized services and much more.

Part of the honor was based on quantifiable results from efforts around racial equality. Over the summer of 2022, Norton Healthcare solicited feedback from the West Louisville community, in large part through a survey campaign.
The more than 4,500 survey responses, along with information gleaned from numerous community events, helped those at Norton Healthcare finalize the services that will be offered, as well as the layout and design of the hospital scheduled to open in 2024.
These results were shared at a community event in November, where Corenza Townsend was named as the first chief administrative officer for Norton West Louisville Hospital.
