How the Program Works

You must have a primary care provider to participate in our medical weight loss  program. Like other specialty practices, this service does not replace the care provided by your primary care provider. You’ll start with a thorough physical examination and consultation, including nutritional counseling and assistance in creating an eating plan. Prescription medication may be given after the exam, if indicated.

It is important to understand that for some people, it is medically necessary to lose weight faster than is possible through this method alone. As part of Norton Weight Management Services, you may receive suggestions for the most appropriate surgical option should you meet criteria.
