Onboarding day is your first official day at Norton Healthcare and Norton Children’s. During onboarding, you’ll learn about the organization, our culture, health care policies and procedures and your employee benefits. You’ll also learn more about Reaching for Zero – our journey to eliminate preventable harm – as well as our security and safety efforts so you feel safe in your work environment.
You’ll also be asked to complete paperwork throughout the day. You should have received your Workday log-in instructions. Follow the link below to watch a video that will help you complete your pre-hire tasks before your first day.
We want your first day to go smoothly, starting with your arrival. Download a map to Norton Healthcare Learning Center, 9500 Ormsby Station Road, Louisville, KY 40223, where you will attend onboarding.
All employees are required to complete various Employee Health requirements. All Employee Health requirements, follow-up items and drug screenings for new employees must be completed no later than 3:30 p.m. EST on the Thursday before your start date.
Remember to bring written proof of vaccinations from your childhood, school or military service and any other applicable documents. Download the employee health expectations to see what records are needed. If you don’t have vaccination records, Employee Health can give you a blood test to check your immunity to certain diseases.
