The PRISM Awards

The PRISM Awards were created to recognize exceptional individuals within the Norton Healthcare Office of Advanced Practice who most exemplify the core provider values: Professionalism, Respect, Interpersonal Skills/ Communication, Systems-Based Practice, Medical/Clinical Knowledge (PRISM).

The Norton Healthcare Office of Advanced Practice will recognize four individuals each year. Our 2024 recipients will be honored during National Advanced Practice Provider Week and will be highlighted online following the celebration.

Please submit all nominations by Friday, June 28.

Who can be nominated?

Any employed Norton Healthcare advanced practice provider (nurse anesthetist, physician assistant, nurse midwife, clinical nurse specialist, or nurse practitioner) in any adult or pediatric inpatient or outpatient setting working at least a half time commitment and any employed Norton Healthcare physician in any adult or pediatric inpatient or outpatient setting working at least a half time commitment. Previous recipients are not eligible to win the award again.

Systems-based practice – Program development, quality-process improvements, integration of needed disciplines into a team, attention to key performance indicators, mentors/ preceptors, publications, etc..(Required)

Medical/clinical knowledge – Excellence in patient care, striving for clinical excellence, top of scope practice, improving patient access, integration of evidence based research, etc..(Required)
