  • Review and evaluate developed X-rays, video or computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff.

Position Requirements

Radiology technologist

Credentials: Radiologic technologist, radiation operator (state)

  • Must obtain radiography license within six months of hire if you currently hold a temporary radiography license.
  • You must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential within one year of hire.

Sonographer

Credentials: RDMS or ARRT(S) – Must obtain registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists credential in sonography (ARRT(S)) within one year of hire.
