Norton Sports Health is pleased to be a presenting sponsor and the official medical provider for the 2026 Humana Kentucky Derby Festival mini & Marathon. As with previous events, our partnerships requires that we provide on-site medical care.
The Kentucky Derby Festival running events are a long-standing tradition held every spring. Participants will start at Louisville Slugger Field in downtown Louisville and run through numerous neighborhoods, experiencing many aspects of our wonderful city, including a run through the historic Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. The finish line is at Preston and Witherspoon streets, near Waterfront Park..
Physicians, residents, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, certified registered nurse anesthetists, nurses, certified medical assistants, certified athletic trainers, paramedics and other medical professionals are encouraged to offer their time and expertise. Nonclinical employees and family members also are needed to help direct and register athletes and assist in other areas.
