The Norton Heart & Vascular Institute Chest Pain Clinic for nonemergency care is located in Norton Medical Plaza West – Audubon, 2355 Poplar Level Road, slightly past Norton Audubon Hospital’s west entrance.

The clinic is designed for evaluation of stabilized patients experiencing chronic chest pain who were referred by a Norton Healthcare provider or a Norton Immediate Care Center. Chest pain can be a symptom of a heart attack, but often can be due to a heart arrhythmia or other health conditions. 

If you have an emergency such as sudden onset of chest pain, call 911 or have someone drive you to an emergency department. Norton Healthcare has 24/7 emergency departments with designated Chest Pain Centers at Norton Audubon Hospital, Norton Brownsboro Hospital, Norton Hospital and Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Louisville

On the Norton Audubon Hospital campus
Free valet parking for the outpatient Chest Pain Clinic is located in front of the Norton Medical Plaza West – Audubon entrance on the far left hand side of the building, with easy access to the first-floor, centralized check-in desk.

From Poplar Level Road, use the campus Entrance 2 and turn left into the Green Parking Lot. TARC Routes 27 and 43 stop near Entrance 2.

Chest Pain Clinic features include:

  • Evaluation of stable patients experiencing chest pain, including bloodwork, electrocardiogram (EKG) and a visit with a specially trained cardiovascular provider
  • Further testing as needed, conveniently through on-campus services at Norton Audubon Hospital
  • Connection to a team of specialists that can diagnose heart rhythm issues, structural heart conditions or other common causes of chest pain not associated with a heart attack
