Norton Sports Health sponsors and provides medical care for many sporting events in the community. You can see our physicians on the sidelines at many high school and collegiate sporting events in Louisville and Southern Indiana.

GE Appilances Kentucky Derby Festival miniMarathon/Marathon

Norton Sports Health provides a training program that prepares runners for the GE Appilances Kentucky Derby Festival miniMarathon/Marathon. The free, 15-week program offers training tips and weekly group runs for participants of all levels of experience. Norton Sports Health also hosts the training program kickoff event in January.

Girls on the Run

Norton Sports Health is proud to serve as the official medical provider for Girls on the Run Kentuckiana’s 5K events.

Norton Sports Health COOL Kids Triathlon

The Norton Sports Health COOL Kids Triathlon is a beginner-friendly, swim-bike-run event for kids ages 6 to 14. This fully supported athletic event is brought to you by Norton Sports Health and Norton Children’s Orthopedics of Louisville, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. This “Just for Kids” event is held at Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center in July.

Louisville Triple Crown of Running

Norton Sports Health is proud to serve as the official medical provider for the Louisville Triple Crown of Running 5K, 10K and 15K races.

The facility also offers youth baseball and softball pitching and hitting group classes for ages 9 to 18.
  • Norton Sports Health specialists are trained and experienced in caring for sports-related injuries and conditions.
  • Our team includes orthopedists, neurologists, primary care physicians, certified athletic trainers, physical therapists and a performance dietitian.
  • Our sports medicine physicians and other providers work together to offer advanced care for athletes and individuals of all ages.
  • Our sports health specialists serve as medical directors for the GE Appliances Kentucky Derby Festival miniMarathon and Marathon.
  • We provide athletic trainers to our partner high schools and colleges in Louisville and Southern Indiana.
