Pre-admission COVID-19 Testing | Norton Healthcare Louisville, Ky.

Pre-admission COVID-19 Testing

As part of the pre-admission testing process, Norton Healthcare requires certain surgery patients to have a negative COVID-19 test.

Routine pre-admission testing will continue on all patients unless they meet one of the following criteria:

  • Fully vaccinated, which happens 14 days after the second Pfizer or Moderna dose or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
  • Tested positive in the past 90 days and don’t have symptoms.

If you need a COVID-19 test, your surgeon’s office will schedule an appointment.

Please review the directions to your testing location, including parking details, prior to your arrival.
