Heart Rhythm Center Device Monitoring Unit
The Norton Heart & Vascular Institute Heart Rhythm Center device monitoring unit uses wireless technology to provide 24-hour monitoring for many patients. Our team is able to detect rhythm issues when you are sleeping, exercising or just living your daily life.
If an arrhythmia is detected remotely and requires follow-up with one of our electrophysiologists, we will contact you. Patients also have access via telephone to routine monitoring appointments with a team member.
Our treatment plans often include cardiac rhythm monitoring or implantable devices. Our services include:
- Holter monitors
- Seven-day event monitor patch
- 30-day event monitors or patch
- Remote monitoring and complete follow-up care for permanent pacemakers, leadless pacemakers; implantable defibrillators, including subcutaneous implantable defibrillator (S-ICD); and biventricular devices
- Implantable loop recorders

Our specialists evaluate and provide a customized treatment plan to patients with irregular heartbeats of any kind. The plan may include medication, a minimally invasive procedure, noninvasive ablation or an implantable device such as a pacemaker or defibrillator. The team works with each patient to create a custom plan to diagnose, manage and even eliminate heart arrhythmias.
