Head & Neck Tumor Program Patient Navigator

Contact the Norton Cancer Institute Head & Neck Tumor Program Patient Navigator

Abbey Overstreet, R.N., OCN, Norton Cancer Institute Head & Neck Tumor Program patient navigator, helps patients and their families with the challenges that come with a tumor diagnosis. She is a registered nurse and an advocate for patients and families, providing information and support through diagnosis, treatment and beyond.

Patient navigator services are free and available as needed by patients and families.

Whether it’s financial concerns, confusion about a diagnosis or uncertainty about a treatment plan — we believe it’s our job not to let these barriers get in the way of timely care for our patients.

The patient navigator also can handle your physician’s referral to the Head & Neck Tumor Program. The patient navigator manages referrals, collects records and keep your referring provider up to date on all courses of action, so they remain integrated into your care.

Patient navigators are available through the four Norton Cancer Institute Resource Centers.

These oncology-certified patient navigators are here to connect patients with the support and information they need.
